A lawsuit, filed last year by 2-Monterey County art collectors, may be dismissed. Art collectors, Ralph Kennaugh and Angelo Amadio reported that someone stole millions of dollars worth of works by legendary artists, such as Van Gogh, from their home. During the investigation, authorities suggested the heist never happened. Officials say the lawsuit should be tossed. Both men sued the Monterey County Sheriff’s County office last month for alleging the men were “criminals, liars, and scam artists”. No arrests have been made.
