Redwoods study 11/26/10 TDH

A group of california university researchers are teaming up, to conduct an extensive study of how redwoods are reacting to climate change.  The 2.5-million-dollar redwoods climate initiative has researchers climbing in trees in 16-sites around the state.  Redwoods, including those in forests in andrew molera state park (south of monterey), and big basin redwoods state park in santa cruz, will be analyzed to see how they have responded to different levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere over time.
