A plane crash in Hollister yesterday morning left 1-person dead. The 6 a.m. crash occurred near the intersection of Shore Road and Highway-25. The 28-year-old male pilot was the only person on board, he had died by the time responders arrived. The plane was headed from Hollister to Australia, with a stop planned in Hawaii. The cause of the wreck is still being investigated.
