The Santa Cruz County Elections Department is expected to update vote totals for the November 2nd election today. Santa Cruz County Clerk Gail Pellerin says the office is on track for submitting a final tally to the state by the November 30th deadline. According to Pellerin, 5-thousand provisional ballots, a required manual count of 1-percent of precinct votes, a required manual count of all touch-screen votes and an audit of all precincts, has kept the office busy.
