5 people were taken into custody today in North Santa Cruz County during a raid that netted a dozen firearms, including a number of assault rifles, drugs and a boat. 35 year olds Cody Dumont and Mikaela Smith, 32-year old Naomi Marquez, 30 year old Gary Gilham and 29-year old Garth Dumont were arrested for conspiracy and possession for sale and cultivation of marijuana. Cody and Garth Dumont also face weapons charges. During the raid, authorities seized more than 100-pounds of marijuana, with a street value of over $300,000, from 4 different homes located on the Westside, Bonny Doon and Scotts Valley. A boat, valued at $40,000, was also seized.
