A local non-profit has received a donation that will help hundreds of Salinas children learn to swim. Salinas Valley Aquatics Incorporated has received 400 swimsuits from the USA Swimming Foundation. The suits are all name brand and each has a 70-dollar value. Many families in the Salinas Valley can’t afford proper swimwear for their children, the swimsuit donation will help hundreds of children get the opportunity to learn to swim. Salinas Valley Aquatics Incorporated teaches swim lessons at the Salinas Aquatic Center, which is open to the public.
