Supporters and critics of a regional desalination plant presented oral arguments at the state Public Utilities Commission headquarters on Wednesday. Oppon`ents of the desalination plant are calling for tougher measures to ensure that project costs are kept down, and supporters are arguing that the commission should review the proposal as it currently stands. The full commission is expected to consider the project on December 2nd.
