S.C. NONPROFITS ANALYZED 11-11-10 19:10 a.v.

The Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors this week voted to research which community programs will continue receiving millions of county dollars. The issue at hand is that gaps were left in services that needed to be addressed by the county’s network of roughly 50-non-profits. The Board empowered a task force last April to analyze how the funding was being spent. Among the biggest recipients are the Human Care Alliance, Community Bridges, Salud Para La Gente and the Santa Cruz Community Counseling Center.
