Self-Defense in SC Schools 11/10/10 0700 E.A.
Self-defense classes are being offered at Santa Cruz schools. Self-Defense classes have been offered at Santa Cruz High since 2006, and a new series classes at Branciforte Middle School began on Monday. The classes include physical defense moves, as well as posture and tone of voice. The Santa Cruz City Schools District began implementing the classes after numerous reports of unwanted advances on students in the district.
