Certificates of recognition have been awarded to a couple of localagencies for their success in implementing an extensive recycling program. The certificates were given out by The Salinas Valley Solid Waste Authority to it’s fellow partners (H.A.M.C. and C.H.I.S.P.A.) that worked under the Monterey Bay Area Multifamily Recycling Project. The grant funded program is distributed through the California Department of Conservation, and is to include all of their multifamily facilities within S.V.S.W.A’.s jurisdiction.
