100K IN EQUIPMENT STOLEN IN K.C. 11-08-10 14:30 a.v.

$100,000 worth of equipment was taken over the weekend in King City from a construction site under a bridge that crosses the Salinas River. The theft is believed to have occurred between Friday morning and Saturday afternoon at the bridge over Highway 101 and Jolon Road. Monterey County Sheriff’s Deputies say the thieves used a forklift to move boxes containing the stolen items, which included multiple pressure washers, generators, chain saws and hand tools. Anyone with any information about any suspicious vehicles parked under the bridge, are asked to contact the Monterey County Sheriff’s Department.
