HOLLISTER CUTS AFTER SCHOOL SPORTS 11-03-10 19:45 a.v.

Hollister School District Officials are said to cut after school sports in its middle schools next year. The cuts, expected to take place in January, are a reported effort to reduce 2.5 million dollars within the next 2 years. Officials say they can’t afford the stipends for the coaches. Parents, who are concerned about kids getting involved in destructive activities such as drugs and gangs, will be faced with finding alternatives to the after school sports program by next year.
