The public’s help is being sought in locating Seagulls that have been found with beer cans around their neck. Wildlife experts believe that someone is catching and collaring the birds with cut beer cans. Reported sightings of the birds have been made from Half Moon Bay and other various locations through-out the Bay Area. Officials with Monterey-based WildRescue, say the mistreatment of animals is a Federal crime punishable by severe fines, imprisonment or both.
