24-HOUR NURSES STRIKE - 10/26/10 14:13 S.S.

A  24- hour  nurses  strike  began  this  morning  at  Watsonville  Community  Hospital,   and  is  expected  to  end  tomorrow  morning  at  6:45  a.m..       Nurses  have  said  they hope  this  action  will  help  expedite  lagging  contract  negotiations….which  are  not about  wages,  but  are about  staffing and  patient  care.
