An agreement over alcohol issues has been reached between a Salinas school and the owners of a proposed new area restaurant. The Blue Goose Kitchen, a proposed restaurant and bar, is expected to move in at South Main and San Joaquin Streets and share a parking lot with the Salinas Montessori School. Last night during the Salinas City Council meeting, both sides agreed that no hard liquor will be sold before 5 p.m. on weekdays, and customers who order food, will be allowed to order beer and wine only before 5 p.m.
