MCO HEALTH DEPT. 2.25 MIL GRANT 10-13-10 08:30 a.v.
The Monterey County Health Department announced this week that it’s Behavioral Health Bureau received two grants to enhance it’s juvenile and adult drug treatment court program. The grants, totaling 2.25 million dollars, will reportedly increase program capacity, provide training and improve the quality of services using “evidence-based practice curricula. The 3-year grant was received from multiple agencies including the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
