Hundreds of injured military veterans rode their bicycles to the Central Coast yesterday in an effort to raise funds to support rehabilitation programs for the nation’s military veterans and soldiers. Ride-to-Recovery is a 7-day ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles designed to provide both physical and mental rehabilitation to wounded veterans. Today riders are expected to pass through Monterey to their next stop in Carmel.
