A memorial fund has been established to help the family of a santa cruz girl who died last week as a result of injuries she received in a car accident. Stacey Marie Hernandez succumbed to her injuries at an Iowa hospital last Wednesday. Stacey attended Harbor High and Hampton-Dumont High School. She worked at Country Inn and Suites as a housekeeper, and volunteered for Meals on Wheels programs, as well as the Food Bank of Santa Cruz County. She was an avid photographer, and her family described her as very artistic. Stacey Marie Hernandez was 18 years old.
