A vote was approved yesterday to delay the renewal of Pacific Collegiate School in Santa Cruz. The delay was so the school and the district can continue to work on resolving whether P-C-S should grant enrollment preference to students who live within the district. The district, however, has opposed that change, saying that it drains it’s top students and funding. On August 26th county trustees granted an extension but the decision must be made by September 29th. A special Board meeting will be held at 2 p.m. on September 23rd.
