After a 2-month long investigation, 2 San Jose drug dealers were arrested this week after Santa Cruz police and federal drug agents confiscated 2,000 ecstasy pills. 20-year old Davis Bui Nguyen and 21-year old Martin Huynh, who are thought to be mid-level distributors, were transporting the drugs from San Jose to Santa Cruz. Police say the drugs were worth as much as $14,000. The 2, who were pulled over Wednesday in Nguyen’s green Toyota van on the 500 block of Water Street at around 5:25 p.m., were arrested on suspicion of possessing and transporting a controlled substance.
