A Salinas police officer was taken into custody in Pacific Grove on child molestation charges. 44-year old Lance Mosher was arrested after a complaint was made this past March stemming from a prior complaint received by an unnamed individual that the acts initially occurred in 2007 while Mosher was living in Pacific Grove. Mosher has been charged with one count of lewd acts with a minor and penetration with a foreign object. Mosher, who was placed on administrative leave in April, was released on a $200,000 bond and is slated to be arraigned later this month.
