King City’s Police Chief was reinstated yesterday after a month-long investigation was being conducted on allegations of misconduct. Police Chief Nick Baldiviez was on administrative leave since August after complaints were received that he drove police vehicles to crime scenes while intoxicated, wrongfully hired and fired officers, and compromised evidence on certain crime scenes. The allegations were raised in a letter sent by the King City Police Officers Association to the City Manager and City Council Members.
