Nearly 3-dozen people were evacuated this afternoon after pepper spray was found sprayed inside a building at the Cabrillo College Watsonville Center. 40 people were evacuated as a precaution after a student was said to have sprayed the chemical inside a bathroom in a building that houses administration and classrooms. No major injuries were reported only complaints of irritated throats, noses and eyes were received. People were allowed to return to the facility by 5 p.m. Officials say the spray does not cause any long lasting health problems.
