A woman accused in the killing of a Salinas attorney last month, pleaded not guilty today. 42-year old Verginia Turner, was arraigned on a murder charge filed against her in the killing of 58-year old, family court lawyer, Mark Hafen. According to autopsy results, Hafen who was last seen alive on August 27th, died from blunt force injuries to the head due to bludgeoning. Turner, whose arraignment has been delayed twice so that could retain a defense lawyer, is slated to return back to court on September 22nd.
