A 25-year old Heroin dealer was arrested this morning in Santa Cruz after drugs were found following a single vehicle crash. Officers responded to a report of a truck that crashed into a building at the corner of River and Encinal Streets at about 10:30 a.m. The driver of the truck, Pedro Gomez was arrested after officers found heroin, marijuana, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia inside of his truck. Gomez, who is said to be a hi-level heroin dealer, who operates out of the Pogonip, was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail on multiple charges including driving under the influence and possessing and transporting drugs.
