As of yesterday, a beach advisory for Monterey Municipal Beach has been lifted. Authorities posted a warning on Wednesday September 8th due to high levels of bacteria found in samples taken September 7th. Follow up samples reveal that bacteria has subsided to levels considered safe for recreational contact.
