Construction work has begun on a new Marshalls store slated to open this upcoming winter in Santa Cruz. The 28,000 empty square foot space on Commercial Way, was formerly occupied by a Circuit City store, next door to the Toys-R-Us retailer. Construction for the discount store is expected to cost around $926,000. A grand opening is scheduled for November 6th.
