5TH PHASE FT. ORD ROAD WORK BEGINS 08-23-10 08:50 a.v.
Construction on the 5th and final phase of development, of an on-going road project in the City of Seaside, is expected to start this week. The new section of General Jim Moore Boulevard, which has been undergoing a new 4-lane section remodel through Fort Ord, will be getting fresh pavement this week. The new section of General Jim Moore, which will include a median, bike paths and a sidewalk, runs between Coe Avenue in North Seaside almost to South Boundary Road in Del Rey Oaks. The new road, which has been under development since late last year, is expected to open by November.
