A 30-year-old man suffered major injuries when he crashed his car in Salinas today(Sun). The man was attempting to flee from police, when he crashed his van into an irrigation ditch. Firefighters responding to the accident were unable to locate the victim at first, but they used a thermal imaging camera to locate him in nearby bushes. The victim was airlifted to a San Jose Trauma center with injuries described as life-threatening.
