SALINAS’S NEW SCHOOL SAFETY PROGRAM 08-18-10 07:00 a.v.

A new program designed to help children get to school safely is being launched in Salinas. The Salinas Streets Smarts Program was launched this year in an effort to remind motorists to drive cautiously while students are back in school. Participants at John Steinbeck Elementary School have created lawn signs around their school with a message that reads “If you see kids…..SLOW DOWN”.
