Santa Cruz County Supervisors are expected on Tuesday to consider providing a 3.2-million dollar grant to an area-non profit, to build more affordable housing in Aptos. The Board of Supervisors is expected to approve the money, for the organization Mid Peninsula Housing Coalition. The non-profit plans to build affordable rental units in the parcel known as The Miller Property, across from Aptos’s Rancho Del Mar Shopping Center. As many as 40 units could occupy the site, which is one of a few approved by the County for additional affordable rental units.
