A Salinas man was arrested this week for impersonating a security officer in 2 different situations. 21-year old Jacob Rogers was taken into custody Wednesday after complaints were received from residents at the Nantucket Bay Apartments about a private security company at their complex making vehicle stops and issuing parking citations. The Santa Cruz Market also reported that an unknown security officer went into the store, patted down several juveniles and escorted them out prior to releasing them. Rogers was booked into Monterey County Jail on charges of impersonating an officer and violating probation.
