City council members in Watsonville voted on keeping a proposed AM/PM gas station/convenience store open 24 hours. Last night’s 5-to-2 vote clears development plans for the proposed project to be built at the corner of Holohan and Green Valley Roads. The project however, encounters debate from council members, who voted against keeping the convenience store open 24 hours, saying the store may make the neighborhood less safe. A development date has not yet been set.
