Scotts Valley police officers are asking for assistance with catching and prosecuting a man who allegedly robbed an area sandwich shop at gunpoint Monday night. The roughly 10:30 p.m. armed robbery occurred at the Mount Hermon Road Subway shop. The suspect is described as a 30-year old white man wearing a dark sweatshirt, jeans and a baseball cap. Anyone with information about the incident, or the suspect, is asked to contact the Scotts Valley police department.
