A 13-year-old King City boy was shot on Friday in what police believe was a drive by-shooting. The victim was struck once, as he stood outside his house on the 900-block of King City’s Broadway Street. He was taken to local hospital, where he was treated and released. The shooter has not been caught, however police believe the suspect was driving a black, Honda Civic hatchback, possibly with a license plate ending with 9-7-7. The shooting is being investigated as gang-related.
