A 25-year-old man was killed in Salinas this morning, in what police believe was a domestic dispute. Salinas police report that officers located the victim at 9 a.m., as they patrolled the area of lower Soledad Street. The man told police that he had been stabbed by a female acquaintance. Shortly after locating him, police received a 9-1-1 call from the woman, who reported the domestic dispute. Officers responded to her North Main Street residence, and took her into custody for questioning. The victim was transported to a Bay Area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Neither the victim’s, nor the suspect’s names have been released.
