Board members with the Hollister School District were able to prevent school libraries and computer lab services from being cut during a meeting held yesterday. $925,000 worth of cuts were being considered including custodians, instructional aides, library techs and computer supervisors. Although 20 employees, mostly part-time employees, were laid off, last night’s decision spared the jobs of 14 library and computer lab employees.
