A Santa Cruz man did NOT enter a plea today on murder and kidnapping charges after being accused of slashing his girlfriend’s throat over the weekend. 39-year old Wensy Sanchez is accused of killing 41-year old Julie Entwistle at their Eastside apartment early Saturday morning. Sanchez was taken into custody at the couple’s Morrissey Boulevard home around 4 a.m. when officers found Entwistle bleeding on the floor, she was pronounced dead at the scene. Sanchez is slated back in court on Thursday to have his bail raised from 1-million to 2-million dollars.
