California Social Services officials have announced changes to the state’s food stamp program. The new policies make it easier for those who have been suspended from the program to re-start their enrollment once the problem has been fixed. The previous guidelines required recipients to re-start the entire application process. Now, easily-corrected problems (such as submitting paperwork) can re-activate enrollment with more efficiency.
