POLICE CHIEF TO AUDIT K.C. P.D 07-16-10 05:50 a.v.

An audit, planned for the King City police department, is said to build better community relations with area residents after concerns about the effectiveness of the city’s police department was voiced this week.   King City Council members unanimously approved funding Tuesday for an outside investigator, police chief Tommy Tunson of Arvin, to research allegations of the department’s failure of not making any progress in solving a rash of gang violence that has plagued the city this year, and to audit the department in order to find ways to streamline operations.
