A voluntary recall has bee issued by a Monterey-based salad manufacturer for possible E.Coli contamination. Officials with Fresh Express are recalling certain expired bags of romaine lettuce salad products with a ‘use-by’ date of July 8th through the 12th with an ‘S’ in the product code. No illnesses have yet been reported. Questions about the recall can be directed to the Fresh Express Consumer Response Center at 1-800-242-5472, M-F 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. PST.
