A 19-year old motorcyclist was killed in Salinas over the weekend after losing control of his bike. Edgar Romero Perez was riding eastbound on East Alisal Street when he attempted to stop at Felice Street, while a ford expedition was trying to make a left-hand turn onto westbound East Alsisal, when he lost control and slid into the driver side of the SUV. Romero-Perez was transported to Natividad Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
