No injuries were reported when an acid bomb exploded outside of a La Selva home yesterday. The vandalism incident occurred just before noon after someone poured muriatic acid into an apple juice jug, with a piece of tin foil, and left the device in front of a home on the 100 block of Zills Road, off of San Andreas Road. The jug eventually exploded etching concrete and a block wall along with leaving a cloud of acid vapor in the air for a brief time. Investigations into the apparent motive continue.
