The arrival of a new discount retail store is expected to bring more jobs into the Santa Cruz area this fall. Plans were announced for a Marshall’s to move into the space formerly occupied by a Circuit City store located on Commerical Way. T-J-X, the company that owns Marshalls, filed for tenant improvements last week on the empty 28-thousand square foot building. Officials with Marshalls hope to open the new store by the end of October.
