A robbery suspect was arrested after threatening a man at knife point last night in Salinas. Police say 41-year old Kelvin Williams approached the 39-year old victim at an A-T-M machine at a Main Street bank around 7:15 p.m., when he demanded money from the man. After a brief struggle ensued between the 2, the suspect then pulled out a knife and the victim gave up his wallet. Williams then fled towards a nearby inn on Monterey Street, where he was identified by witnesses and was later arrested. Williams was booked into Monterey County jail for robbery and violation of parole.
