Officials in San Jose have scheduled a portion of the city to be sprayed next week for West Nile Virus. The Santa Clara County Vector Control Districtth. The area to be ground-fogged is bordered by said that it plans to fog a large area of West San Jose for several hours starting at 11 p.m. on July 13Pruneridge Avenue and Hedding Street on the North, Saratoga Avenue on the West, Interstate 880 on the East, and Payne Avenue on the South. An open house information meeting will be held Friday July 9th at the Asian Americans for Community Involvement Community Center, Room 210, 2400 Moorpark Avenue from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. So far, no human cases of the virus have been confirmed this year in Santa Clara County.
