A Mountain View couple, hiking in the Los Padres National Forest over the weekend, were found safe after being reported missing Monday. The Monterey County sheriff’s office was contacted after 29-year old Brandon Boers and his wife, 26-year old Amanda Boers didn’t return Saturday from a 2-day hiking trip from China Camp to Big Sur. The couple, along with their Australian shepherd, who were found safe in the Miller Canyon area, were flown out of the area early this morning.
