After 2 months as the Interim Fire Chief for the city of Watsonville, Rudy Lopez Senior has officially been named the city’s new Fire Chief. The 55 year-old says he welcomes the challenge of managing a growing firefighting department. Former Watsonville Fire Chief Pablo Barreto is now leading the Salinas Fire Department.
