A new executive director has taken the reigns at the tannery arts center in santa cruz. Rachel Goodman took over this month for departing director george newell. Goodman is a former broadcast journalist and journalism teacher at cabrillo college. She had been serving as bill monning’s district director. Goodman’s first task will be to continue fundraising efforts to build a new performing arts theater at the river street complex.
