(13:09) SCOTTS VALLEY-The Scotts Valley Water District (SVWD) announced a new weather facility on Friday. The station has been installed at the District’s El Pueblo facility. The new automated equipment will replace an older-style rain gauge that had to be manually observed and recorded. The new station automatically records and stores information about rainfall, humidity, barometric pressure and wind speed. The public can acess the data at: www.svwd.org.
